China: Red Bull (energy drinks) becomes an official partner of the Super League until 2016-17

The Austrian energy drinks brand Red Bull has become an official partner of the Chinese Super League until the end of the 2016-17 season, announced Red Bull on 05/11/2015.

"The partnership with Red Bull will further enhance the brand influence and brand value of the Chinese Super League," said Ma Chengquan, the directing manager of the Chinese Super League, with whom Red Bull has become the seventh official partner. The Chinese league generated €36m in sponsorship revenue in 2013.

Chinese Super League: China Ping An Insurance (insurance), title sponsor until 2018

  • The Chinese Super League has generated 300 million yuan, or €36m in sponsorship revenue in 2013.
  • In 2014 Ping An Insurance, a Chinese company specialising in banking and insurance, became the title sponsor of the Chinese Super League until 2018, for 600 million yuan (€72m), or €18m per year.
