Premier League: AFC Bournemouth secure investment from US private equity firm PEAK6

AFC Bournemouth (Barclays Premier League) have completed the sale of a 25% stake in the club to the US private equity group PEAK6 Capital Management, according to a statement on 09/11/2015.

As a result of the new investment, the value of which is undisclosed, the firm’s co-founder, Matt Hulsizer, and his colleague Jay Coppoletta, will join the Bournemouth board of directors. Bournemouth’s owner, Maxim Demin, retains majority control.

“I was introduced to the club over two seasons ago and since then I have followed the club’s progress and seen the tremendous accomplishments in that time. With Eddie Howe and Jason Tindall managing the team, I am confident that we can establish ourselves in the top flight,” stated Matt Hulsizer on 09/11/2015.
