Ligue 1: Hungaria will replace Hummel as the kit supplier of Stade de Reims from 2016-17

The French brand Hungaria will replace Hummel as the official kit supplier of Stade de Reims (Ligue 1) from the 2016-17 season, the club announced on 10/11/2015. Hummel, whose contract expires at the end of the 2015-16 season, has been partnered Stade de Reims since the 2012-13 season.

"We want to write a shared story with Hungaria. Hungaria was chosen because it is a French brand in a premium sector and has a lot in common with Stade de Reims. Both were created in 1931 and have experienced good periods and complicated periods in their history," said Jean-Pierre Caillot, president of Stade de Reims, at the "Horizon 2020" event, organised by the Reims-based club, on 10/11/2015.

Hungaria, which had been inactive since 1975 and entered back into the football shirt market in early 2015, had already been the equipment supplier of Stade de Reims in the 1950s.The 2016-17 Stade de Reims shirts will be presented in early July 2016. Hungaria will develop the club's match kit as well as a personalised Stade de Reims sportswear collection.
