Euro 2016: TV Media Sport to manage the rights for live broadcasts in sub-Saharan Africa

The French media rights agency TV Media Sport will manage the distribution of the live broadcasting rights for Euro 2016 for 38 sub-Saharan countries (see list below; Nigeria are in advanced discussions), on 09/11/2015. The rights were acquired from CAA Eleven, the agency which manages the centralised marketing of broadcasting rights of national team competitions organised by UEFA.

The acquired rights (which could extend to several additional African countries such as DR Congo and the Republic of Congo) are valid for all broadcast platforms (television, Internet, mobile and tablets). They cover the live broadcast of the 12 best matches of Euro 2016 (including the opening match, quarter-finals, one semi-final and the final) and the rebroadcast of the 39 other matches in the form of extended 52 minute-long summaries, available to be broadcast from just after the final whistle.
