Premier League: MP & Silva will distribute the audiovisual rights for 2016-2019 in Japan

MP & Silva has agreed a deal to distribute the audiovisual rights of the Barclays Premier League in Japan for the 2016-2019 cycle, said Riccardo Silva, president of the British marketing and media rights agency, on 10/11/2015.

The rights are expected to cost $90m (€84m) according to several British media sources, which is double the amount paid by the agency IMG for the same rights during the 2013-2016 cycle.

MP & Silva has already distributed these rights for the 2010-2013 cycle. "In Japan, MP & Silva is now the undisputed leader, distributing exclusive rights to the Premier League, Spanish Liga BBVA, Italian Serie A TIM, French Ligue 1 and the UEFA European Championship in 2016," said Riccardo Silva on 10/11/2015.
