Robert Lewandowski (27 years old), the Polish international and FC Bayern Munich striker (Bundesliga), has become an ambassador for Huawei, the Chinese information technology and communications group, in Europe and Scandinavia, announced the company, on 12/11/2015.

Huawei will use the image of Robert Lewandowski to promote its products. Robert Lewandowski joins the Chilean striker Alexis Sanchez (Arsenal FC) and the Colombian James Rodriguez (Real Madrid CF) as a regional ambassador of the brand. "We are witnessing a new chapter in the marketing strategy for Huawei. To meet the expectations of clients and our expanding global brand portfolio, we are opening ourselves to global sports, not only by sponsoring football clubs, but also by working with sports stars," said Wang Yanming, president of the regional terminal device department of Huawei.

The revenues generated by sales of Huawei products in the EMEA region (Europe, Middle East and Africa) totalled €14bn, or 35% of the group's total sales in 2014 (€39.9bn). The Chinese group generates the bulk of its sales in China with…
