Wembley National Stadium (England) will offer its tributes to the dead and injured in the Paris attacks (on 13/11/2015; 129 killed and 352 people injured) during England’s friendly with the French national team on 17/11/2015.

The FA took the decision for the match to go ahead despite the terrorist atrocities in Paris on 13/11/2015, following consultations with government, the Metropolitan Police and the FFF at the weekend.

A senior FA source told News Tank Football: "There has been no intelligence about there being a specific threat to the game -- there hasn’t been and there isn’t. The Metropolitan Police and the government have both told us this. Before we decided to play the match we also wanted to speak with our colleagues in France. [FA chief executive] Martin Glenn was on a call on Saturday morning, and they made clear they wanted to go ahead if we were happy to."
