Ligue 1: Uhlsport becomes a sponsor of the goalkeepers of EA Guingamp in 2015-16

The German sports equipment manufacturer Uhlsport has become a partner of the goalkeepers of EA Guingamp (Ligue 1) for the 2015-16 season, the club announced on 13/11/2015.

The goalkeepers of the Akademi, the Guingamp training centre, will all use gloves designed by the German company this season. The first choice Guingamp goalkeepers, including Mamadou Samassa and Jonas Lössl, have already used Uhlsport gloves for several seasons.

The Belgian brand Patrick is the main kit supplier of EA Guingamp until the 2020-21 championship. The brand, which was originally French, has been owned by the Belgian group Cortina since 2009, and began its partnership with the Breton club during the 2012-13 season. Guingamp generated €5.14m in sponsorship revenue during the 2013-14 Ligue 1 season.

• Patrick is under contract with another prefessional French club for the 2015-16 season, 63 Clermont Foot (Ligue 2).
