Serie A: The virtual currency Jetcoin becomes a partner of Hellas Verona FC

The virtual currency Jetcoin has become a top sponsor of Hellas Verona FC (Serie A TIM) for the 2015-16 season, the club announced on 11/11/2015. Jetcoin is a virtual currency specialising in the sports and entertainment sector that incorporates a rewards system for its users (VIP seats, private events, etc.).

The Hong Kong-based company Jetcoin Institute was already the shirt sponsor of the club's main rival -- AC Chievo Verona (Serie A TIM) -- since the start of the 2014-15 season. The agreement includes visbility for Jetcoin on the back of the Hellas Verona shirt, as well as visibility on the LED advertising boards at the Marcantonio Bentegodi stadium (39,300 seats), the club's technical centre, website and official magazine. The company will be promoted during Hellas Verona's tour to Asia in the summer of 2016. The club also announced it is now accepting Jetcoins as currency.

The club generated €3.58m in advertising and sponsorship revenue, or 8% of its total revenues (€42.7m) during the 2013-14 season. The sponsorship allocation of the club's four major trading partners…
