FIFA: Michel Platini victim of "unfair and biased investigation" and will appeal to the CAS

"The decision comes as no surprise. It was expected by Michel Platini and his lawyers. It confirms that FIFA, through its internal bodies, is conducting a one-sided, unfair and biased investigation against Michel Platini, repeatedly violating his right to defend himself," said a spokesperson for Michel Platini in a statement to the Agence France Presse, on 18/11/2015.

Earlier the same day, FIFA announced that the Appeal Committee of the international federation had rejected the appeal filed by Michel Platini against his provisional 90-day suspension from any activity in football. This temporary suspension was ordered against the UEFA president by the adjudicatory chamber of the FIFA Ethics Committee on 08/10/2015. "In accordance with Article 67 of the FIFA Statutes, the decision may be appealed to the CAS," said FIFA on 18/11/2015.
