Italy: Sky acquires the broadcasting rights to the Russian first division for 2015-16

Sky Italia acquired the broadcasting rights, in Italy, for the SOGAZ Russian Football Championship on 16/11/2015. The Italian pay-TV group did not disclose any financial details of the acquisition, including the contract length or the number of games shown each week.

The match between CSKA Moscow - Krylya Sovetov Samara (Matchday 16) will be the first game broadcast live by Sky Sports HD 1 on Saturday 21/11/2015 at 12:00 CET. Sky broadcast the Russian first division in Italy during the 2008-2011 cycle. Two Italian internationals -- Domenico Criscito (Zenit St. Petersburg) and Salvatore Bocchetti (Spartak Moscow) -- are playing in the SOGAZ Russian Football Championship in 2015-16.
