Olympique Lyonnais (Ligue 1) have signed a partnership agreement with the Senegalese club Dakar Sacré-cœur, the club announced on 17/11/2015.

"This Dakar club corresponds to what we want to do. OL will contribute its expertise, financial support, and a very specific programme with the OL Foundation (education, citizenship and more). This collaboration will contribute to the training of young African players, and then will help them in their adaptation when they come to Europe," said Jean-Michel Aulas, president of Olympique Lyonnais, at the conference formalising the partnership on 17/11/2015.

Sidney Govou, the former French international (49 caps) and former player of Olympique Lyonnais, has been appointed the ambassador for this partnership between Lyon and Dakar Sacré-cœur. Alain Ollio, the former director of the OL training centre, is the sporting director of the Senegalese club.
