France: ban on visiting supporters in Ligue 1 and Ligue 2 extended until Matchday 18

The French Interior Ministry issued an order prohibiting visiting supporters for all the matches of Matchday 15 of Ligue 1 and Matchday 16 of Ligue 2 (27 to 29/11/2015), on 26/11/2015. 1260 spectators in total were in the visitor areas during Matchday 13 of Ligue 1, or an average of 126 per game.

Travelling supporters had already been banned for Matchday 14 of Ligue 1 and Matchday 16 of Ligue 2. "Another order, taking the same prevention devices, will soon be published for Matchdays 16, 17, and 18 of Ligue 1, Matchdays 17 and 18 of Ligue 2, the 8th round of the Coupe de France (05 and 06/12/2015) and matches to be held in France for the last Group Stage Matchdays of the Champions League and Europa League (08 and 10/12/2015)," stated the LFP.

These decisions are due to the lack of availability of mobile security forces during the state of emergency declared in France after the terrorist attacks of 13/11/2015.
