United Kingdom: talkSPORT acquires the radio rights to the 2016 and 2020 editions of the Euros

The British radio station talkSPORT has acquired the non-exclusive radio broadcasting rights, in the United Kingdom, for Euro 2016 and Euro 2020, on 23/11/2015. The 51 matches of Euro 2016 will be broadcast live on talkSPORT and the soon to talkSPORT 2 stations (launch date of talkSport 2 date not provided).

Euro 2016, the first edition of the tournament with 24 teams (instead of 16), will also be the first international tournament which will see the participation of three national teams from the British Isles (England, Wales, Northern Ireland), as well the neighboring Republic of Ireland, since the 1958 World Cup in Sweden (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland). TalkSPORT has previously radio broadcast Euro 2012 and the last three World Cups.
