FIFA: Swiss Justice announces the arrest of two FIFA officials in Zurich on behalf of US Justice

"On the instructions of the Federal Office of Justice FOJ, a further two FIFA officials were arrested in Zurich today, Thursday. They are being held in custody pending their extradition. According to the US arrest requests, they are suspected of accepting bribes of millions of dollars," stated Swiss Justice on 03/12/2015.

These two leaders of international football would be, according to the New York Times, the Honduran Alfredo Hawit, president of CONCACAF, and the Paraguayan Juan Angel Napout, president of CONMEBOL. These two members of the FIFA Executive Committee were arrested at the Hotel Baur au Lac (Zurich) on the morning of the second day of the meeting of this body, in Zurich, on 02 and 03/12/2015.
