FIFA: name of the arrested leaders and the outcome of the hearings will be announced on 03/12/2015

"In the course of today (03/12/2015) the FOJ will issue a further media release containing the names of those who have been arrested, and the outcomes of the hearings," announced the Swiss Federal Office of Justice on 03/12/2015.

The FOJ has issued a first statement announcing the arrest of "two FIFA officials" in Zurich (SUI) on the morning of 03/12/2015. The Swiss Justice did not specify the identity of the two leaders who were arrested, however, according to the New York Times, they are the Honduran Alfredo Hawit, president of CONCACAF, and the Paraguayan Juan Angel Napout, president of CONMEBOL.

"On behalf of the FOJ, the Zurich cantonal police will hold hearings on the US arrest requests before the end of today (03/12/2015)," said the FOJ in its statement of 03/12/2015.
