England: Nike extends deal as official equipment supplier of the Premier League until 2018-19

Nike has extended its agreement as the official equipment supplier of the Barclays Premier League until the end of the 2018-19 season, announced the English League on 09/12/2015. The American brand has been under contract with the Premier League since the 2001-02 season.

The official league ball for the 2015-16 season is the Nike Ordem 3. As part of the partnership, Nike will also supply equipment to football schools. This programme has already helped to equip more than 4,200 children.

Nike has also provided the official match balls for the Serie A TIM and Liga BBVA since the 2011-12 season. The German brand adidas is under contract with the Bundesliga and Ligue 1 until the 2016-17 season, as well as MLS until 2018. The German equipment supplier Uhlsport will replace adidas as the official ball supplier for Ligue 1 in 2017-18 season until 2021-22.
