"Exasperation is the feeling of the French, in the face of the rise of extremism. It is another kind of exasperation that I'm talking about, that of French football, exasperated by scandals, corruption at the highest level, money problems, little deals made 'between friends', the 'sex tapes' and other stories of prostitutes..." wrote Frederic Thiriez, president of the LFP, in an editorial article for Le Figaro, sent to News Tank Football on 09/12/2015.

In this long text, published just prior to a meeting of the FFF Executive Committee on 10/12/2015 and the three-day federal assembly of French football, as well as the draw for the finals of Euro 2016, scheduled at the Palais des Congrès in Paris on 12/12/2015, Frédéric Thiriez reviews all the problems of national and international football and proposes the following solutions for both French and international football:
• Publication of all the remunerations of leaders
• Centralisation of all transfers through a clearing house
• Introduction of a salary cap in France
• Questioning the principle "one federation, one vote" at FIFA
