Premier League: the New South Wales Tourist Board (AUS) becomes a partner of Arsenal FC

The New South Wales Tourist Board (Australia) has become a partner of Arsenal FC (Barclays Premier League) for several seasons, the club announced on 09/12/2015.

As part of this agreement, Arsenal will play two friendly matches against Sydney FC and Western Sydney Wanderers at the ANZ Stadium in Sydney, the capital of New South Wales, in July 2017. The Tourist Board is hoping to appeal to the the British, American and Chinese public. The agreement therefore includes a presence on the LED advertising boards, hospitality packages, activation rights in the stadium and on social networks, and the image rights of Arsenal players and "legends". The club has over 173,000 fans on Facebook in Australia, as of 10/12/2015.

Arsenal generated £103.3m (€140.4m) of commercial revenue during the 2014-15 season, a 34% increase compared to 2013-14 (£77.2m; €105.08m). The club made £78.6m (€106.9m) from sponsorship and advertising revenues in 2014-15, representing an increase of 33% compared to 2013-14 (£59.2m; €80.5m).
