FIFA: CAS decision on the provisional suspension of Michel Platini at "10 o'clock" on 11/12/2015

"During the preliminary hearing held on 08/122015, the CAS Panel in charge of the arbitration heard the parties’ arguments regarding the temporary lifting of Mr Platini’s provisional 90-day suspension. The CAS intends to announce the Panel’s decision at around 10.00am on Friday 11/12/2015," announced the Court of Arbitration for Sport on 10/12/2015.

Michel Platini, UEFA president since 2007, was suspended for 90 days on 08/10/2015 by the FIFA Ethics Committee. He is accused of having received, from FIFA on 01/02/2011, "2 million Swiss francs (about €1.54m at the time of payment), allegedly for work performed between January 1999 and June 2002", according Swiss Justice, which has opened a criminal case against Joseph Blatter on 25/09/2015. After unsuccessful appeal to FIFA, Michel Platini challenged the provisional suspension before the CAS. This body, based in Lausanne (SUI), invited Michel Platini to attend a preliminary hearing on Tuesday 08/12/2015.

"The decision will be announced on the CAS website and by media release," the CAS added on 10/12/2015.
