Premier League: IMG acquires TV rights for the 2016-2019 cycle in 27 European and Asian countries

The US marketing and media rights agency IMG Worldwide has acquired the distribution of the audiovisual rights to the Barclays Premier League for the 2016-2019 cycle in 27 countries in Central and Eastern Europe, and Central Asia (see list below) on 10/12/2015. IMG replaces the Turkish agency Saran Media as the rights holder for the 2013-2016 cycle in these countries.

The rights acquired by IMG cover all distribution platforms (TV, Internet, mobile). They include the live broadcasting of English Premiership matches on television, as well as match highlights for digital platforms.

IMG extended its deal regarding the broadcasting rights to the Barclays Premier League on commercial flights and cruise ships (on the Sport 24 channel) until 2019, on 28/09/2015.
