Image rights management: Neymar Jr (FC Barcelona) extends partnership with Doyen Sports Investments

Neymar Jr (FC Barcelona) has extended his image rights management contract with DSI (Doyen Sports Investments), announced the Malta-based company, on 14/12/2015.

"We are very pleased to work in the long term with him. Doyen will assume an even greater role in the future to help Neymar to best manage his career," said DSI who receive, on average, according to the terms of the previous agreement, 20% commission on Neymar's sponsorship deals.

Already committed with Neymar until 2017, DSI agreed a long-term extension without disclosing the exact duration of the new contract. This extension comes just weeks after the partnership between DSI and the company NR Sport --managed by the father of the Brazilian international-- which also handles the commercial rights of the player.

• In the summer of 2015, the FC Barcelona player entered into a partnership with the video game publisher Konami for the promotion of "Pro Evolution Soccer".
  • The contract is estimated at €750,000, including €150,000 in commission for DSI.
