FIFA: Juan Angel Napout pleads not guilty before a New York court after his extradition

"Juan Angel Napout, president of CONMEBOL and FIFA vice-president was extradited to the USA today (15/12/2015). He was handed over to two US police officers in Zurich, who accompanied him on the flight to New York (USA)," announced the FOJ (Swiss Federal Office of Justice) on 15/12/2015.

The Paraguayan Juan Angel Napout was arrested in Zurich (SUI) and detained for extradition to the United States on 03/12/2015. He was charged on the same day by the Justice Department of the United States. Juan Angel Napout is suspected, along with 15 others indicted on 03/12/2015, of racketeering, financial fraud and money laundering. He agreed to be extradited to the United States, on 08/12/2015.
