Chelsea FC: mutual agreement with J. Mourinho who leaves the club with the rest of his 2015-16 wages

The Portuguese manager Jose Mourinho and Chelsea FC (Barclays Premier League) have ended their association, which began on 03/06/2013, "by mutual agreement", announced the London club on 17/12/2015. Jose Mourinho had already managed "the Blues" between 01/07/2004 and 20/09/2007.

After he managed FC Internazionale Milano (Serie A TIM, 2008-2010) and Real Madrid CF (Liga BBVA, 2010-2013), the "Special One" had returned to lead Chelsea summer 2013, with a four-year contract and a salary estimated at £8.5m per season (nearly €10m at the time). Premier League champions for the 2014-15 season, he signed a new four-year deal with Chelsea, on 07/08/2015, together with an estimated annual salary between £12m and £13m (between €16.9m and €18.3m), a wage increase of between 41% and 53%.
