"During an extraordinary general meeting held on Monday evening (14/12/2015), the president Bertrand Desplat and vice-president Frédéric Legrand had the pleasure of announcing the move from 83 to 141 shareholders during the capital increase operation proposed to the economic operators in the region," announced French club En Avant de Guingamp (Ligue 1) on 14/12/2015.

The arrival of 58 new shareholders via the capital increase allowed En Avant de Guingamp to raise a total of €1.5m, and the club now have a capital in excess of €6.5m. The capital increase of the Brittany-based club will lead to a change in legal status, the EAG from being a SASP (professional sports limited company) -- as the club has been recognised since 2003 -- to the designation limited company (SA).

  • En Avant de Guingamp are currently 18th in Ligue 1 2015-16 after 18 matchdays with 19 points (5 wins, 4 draws and 9 losses).
    • Next match: EA Guingamp - Stade Rennais (Ligue 1, Matchday 19), on 19/12/2015.

"Our model is to share" (Bertrand Desplat on 14/12/2015)
