Bayern Munich: a new multimedia platform before the start of the 2013-14 season

On the 23/05/2013, it was announced that German internet agency BTD Newmedia has won the contract launched by Bayern Munich to update and improve the club's multimedia platform by the start of the 2013/14 season.

The contract covers a complete overhaul and subsequent operation of the club's official website (fcbayern.de), online tv channel (fcb.tv), the club's online store as well its various mobile applications.

The project will be developed on an update of the CMS (Content Management System: a dynamic website content management software) with a responsive design (sites designed for optimal viewing on computers, smartphones, tablets etc.) at www.fcbayern.de, Bayern’s home website.

The pitch was won by BTD Newmedia also involves an exclusive global partnership as the club's official internet agency for the period 2013-2016. BTD Newmedia has been a partner of the club since 2001.

The club will pay the agency €900,000 over the next three years, according to German site www.sponsors.de on 23/05/2013.
