Smaaash Entertainment (virtual gaming) signs a partnership with Cristiano Ronaldo

Smaaash Entertainment (virtual gaming and entertainment) has signed a partnership with the Portuguese star player Cristiano Ronaldo (Real Madrid CF), indicated the Mumbai-based (India) company on 22/12/2015.

"The company will launch a 65,000-sq ft gaming arcade with soccer, cricket and other virtual games in Jeddah (Saudi Arabia) in July (2016) and another in Dubai (in the fall of 2016)," stated Shripal Morakhia, founder and chief imagination officer of Smaash Entertainment.

The Indian company, which will spend $20m (€18.3m) for these two projects, intends to rely on this partnership with Cristiano Ronaldo to help successfully enter the market in the Middle East region. "This association will be the engine for the development of Smaaash Entertainment. Ronaldo is not only a great football player, but also a public figure who enjoys great popularity. I remain confident that Ronaldo will be of great addition to our brand," added Shripal Morakhia.
