RCD Espanyol: shirt to feature the 52tt.com logo (gaming), part of the Chinese company Rastar Group

The Chinese company Rastar Group, the major shareholder of RCD Espanyol (Liga BBVA), will display the logo of its subsidiary company 52tt.com (gaming) on the club shirt until the end of the 2015-16 season, the company announced on 30/12/2015.

Rastar Group, the Chinese company specialising in raw materials, manufacturing and remote-controlled toy cars, announced on 02/11/2015, that it had reached an agreement to acquire 45% of the Barcelona-based club. The agreement is estimated at €14m. The Chinese company could, according to several Spanish media, increase its stake in the coming months up to 56%.

Rastar plans to display other brands on the RCD Espanyol shirt in the future. The company replaces Power8, the IT solutions provider, which had been the club's shirt sponsor until December 2015. The club has taken legal action against the company, since it did not honour the payment of its contracts for the team's shirt sponsorship and the naming rights of the Power8 Stadium (40,500 seats).
