NBA: LeBron James (Cleveland Cavaliers) releases a virtual reality film in association with Samsung

The American basketball player LeBron James (Cleveland Cavaliers) has partnered with Oculus, the virtual reality computing company, and Samsung, the South Korean electronics manufacturer, to release a virtual reality video about his daily life, and in particular highlighting his training sessions, on 28/12/2015. Entitled "Striving for Greatness", "this immersive 360° video is a virtual reality which invites you to follow LeBron James as he strives for greatness," said Samsung.

The 12 minute long video is compatible with Oculus Rift and Samsung Gear VR headsets, and is available for download on the Oculus Store and the Samsung Milk VR (a Samsung service that provides users with virtual reality videos).

An extract lasting a minute and a half was published by Samsung via the company's YouTube account on 25/12/2015 and has so far recorded more than 700,000 views, as of 07/01/2015.
