Matchday 20 of the 2015-16 Ligue 1 season was attended by an average of 26,322 spectators per match from 08 to 10/01/2016. The average attendance of the championship after 20 matchdays is currently 20,418 spectators, equating to 1,919 people less than at the end of the 2014-15 season (-10%). The Ligue 1 stadium fill rate is currently 68% in 2015-16.

The inaugural match at the Parc Olympique Lyonnais, played between Lyon - ESTAC Troyes (4-1), drew the largest crowd of the weekend, with 55,169 spectators, or a 93% fill rate. This event, as well as the home games of Paris Saint-Germain FC, Olympique de Marseille and LOSC Lille, contributed to this round of fixtures achieving the second highest average attendance since the beginning of the season, after Matchday 1, which attracted 26,606 people per match from 07 to 09/08/2015.

The match between AS Monaco FC - GFC Ajaccio (2-2) attracted the lowest attendance of Matchday 20, with 5,542 spectators at the Stade Louis II.
