Reduced season ticket rates in Ligue 1, Bundesliga and the Premier League

In Ligue 1, Bundesliga and the Premier League, 'student', 'disabled' and 'over 65' season tickets were the most popular reduced rate season tickets in 2012/13.

Clubs in all three of these leagues produce fee schedules for season ticket holders, with reductions based on several criteria such as age and employment status.

In France, eight out of twenty clubs in the top league (40%) offer a student season ticket and seven clubs offer an under 16 rate. In Germany, fifteen out of eighteen Bundesliga clubs (83.3%) provide a discount for the disabled and ten (55.5%) offer student discounts.

  • In France, supporters of AS Nancy and Lille Olympique SC receive a discount by committing to three seasons.
  • In Germany, four clubs offer special rates for jobseekers.
  • In England, clubs offer discounts based on age (under 21, over 65 etc).
