Bolton Wanderers: new shirt sponsorship deal

On the 30/05/2013, Bolton Wanderers announced pay-day loan company QuickQuid as their new shirt sponsor for the 2013/14 season.

The QuickQuid logo will replace betting company and online casino 188BET and will appear on the front of team kit, on billboards at the Reebok Stadium, in the matchday programme and on the club's digital media.

Fans have reacted negatively to the new partnership. Supporters have criticised the pay-day loans industry, accusing QuickQuid of exploiting people who need money. A protest against the decision is to be held in Bolton on the 30/05/2013.

At the end of the 2012/13 season in the Football League Championship, Bolton Wanderers finished 7th, just missing out on a play-off place.
