HTC, the Taiwanese manufacturer specialising in digital smartphones and tablets, has become a technology partner of the LFP and all its competitions (Ligue 1, Ligue 2, the Coupe de la Ligue and the Trophée des Champions) until the end of the 2018-19 season, announced HTC on 08/01/2016.

The annual financial allocation received by the League is estimated at between €900,000 and €1m. The HTC logo will be visible during broadcasts of matches on the score display. It will also be visible on videos broadcast by the LFP. HTC was the official supplier of the Champions League during the 2014-15 season.

"This partnership seemed obvious because the expertise of HTC in its communication and virtual reality technology, as well as in its connected products for monitoring athletic performance, will enable us to offer unique experiences to our clients and to all football fans in France. That is why I am very enthusiastic about the scope of activities that we will undertake with the LFP," said François Hernandez, CEO of HTC France.
