Spain: Sevilla FC and Real Betis promote organ donation in their Copa del Rey derby match

Sevilla FC (Liga BBVA) and Real Betis Balompié (Liga BBVA) promoted organ donation during the return leg of the Round of 16 of the 2015-16 Copa Del Rey between the two clubs (Sevilla FC won 4-0, 6-0 on aggregate), on 12/01/2016.

Players from both teams wore special T-shirts bearing the slogan "Multiply the value of your life, become an organ donor" during the pre-match ceremony. This is the slogan of the organisation that coordinates transplants in the Andalusia region, which partnered the promotion coordinated by the Sevilla-based clubs.

"I always say that the media coverage enjoyed by our club is in service of all the organisations through which which we can provide help to people who need it. This time we are doing it with Real Betis Balompié, setting an example of harmony and understanding, which is even better," said José Castro, president of Sevilla FC.
