Spain: 64.18 million viewers watched the matches of the first half of the 2015-16 Liga BBVA season

3.914 million viewers followed at least eight of the 10 matches of Matchday 19 of the 2015-16 Liga BBVA, played from 09 to 10/01/2016. At the mid-season mark, the matches of the Spanish first division have accumulated a minimum of 64.18 million total viewers (42.42 million pay-TV subscribers and 21.77 million viewers on the free-TV channel La 1).

The best audience for Matchday 19 was for Real Madrid CF - Deportivo La Coruna (5-0), which drew 1.145 million subscribers on average during the match (716,000 on Canal+ Liga and 429,000 on Abono Fútbol), on Saturday 09/01/2016 (20:30 CET). This allowed Canal+ Liga (4.6% audience share across the entire Spanish public) and Abono Fútbol (audience share: 2.8%) to have the two best performances of in the pay television market in Spain for the entire the day of 09/01/2016.
