Premier League: Bank Muamalat becomes a regional partner of Arsenal in Indonesia until 2017-18

Bank Muamalat has become a regional partner of Arsenal FC (Barclays Premier League) in Indonesia until the end of the 2017-18 season, the club announced on 14/01/2016.

The bank will offer co-branded bank cards featuring the colours of the London club for its customers in Indonesia. Bank Muamalat will launch activation campaigns featuring different prizes, including tickets for matches at the Emirates Stadium. Under the agreement, the Arsenal coaches will also visit Indonesia to offer their services in medical centres on behalf of Bank Muamalat.

Arsenal are partnered with another company in Indonesia: Indosat, the telecommunications service for the Indonesian market owned by the Ooredoo group, a regional partner of Arsenal until the end of the 2016-17 season. The club has 3.38 million Facebook fans in the country, or 9.7% of their total fans (34.69 million) as of 14/01/2016. Indonesia is the country in which Arsenal have the most fans.

Arsenal generated £103.3m (€140.4m) in commercial revenue in the 2014-15 season, a 34% increase compared to 2013-14 (£77.2m; €105.08m). The club made…
