Canada: the federation issues a call for nominations for the roles of president and five directors

The Nominations Committee of the Canada Soccer Board of Directors has published a call for nominations for the roles of president and directors of its Executive Committee on 19/01/2016. The deadline for submission of applications is 11/03/2016.

The date of the start of the term of office for the position of president (four year term) and the five director positions (three year terms) is fixed at 08/05/2016, the day after the annual general meeting of members of the CSA, scheduled for 06 and 07/05/2016 in Saskatoon (Saskatchewan, CAN).

The Executive Committee of the CSA consists of 14 directors, including a president, a vice-president, six elected directors and six appointed independent directors, selected by the Nominations Committee. In addition to the president, the Nominations Committee are also searching for two elected directors and two independent directors, one of which must be female (either elected or independent).
