England’s Football Association board remains undecided over whom to support in the FIFA presidential election despite being challenged on the matter at the most recent FA Council meeting, according to information received by News Tank Football on 22/01/2016.

"David Gill was asked about why the FA had given its public support to Michel Platini, because he was banned from all football activity soon afterwards. He was asked if it was just because of what Platini had done for English football and UEFA, then he was asked if the FA could be more rigorous about the choice next time," said a source who was involved in the FA Council meeting that took place at Wembley National Stadium on 20/01/2016.
