"We have done six, seven new deals over the second half of 2015 based on working on our inventory, being able to present it in the right way and obviously being appealing to brands," explained Adolfo Bara Negro, general manager for sales and marketing at LaLiga, to News Tank Football on 23/02/2016, as he discussed the Spanish football league's aims to extend its global reach and revenues in the years to come.

"The key point is that we are without any question the best league in the world. This means that over the past five years Spanish clubs have won Champions League finals, Europa League finals. We’ve won most of the continental titles. We have the two best clubs in the world, which are Real Madrid and Barcelona, which have (Lionel) Messi and (Cristiano) Ronaldo playing for them. Both from the image side and also from the performance perspective, we are no doubt, without question, the best league in the world. That is our positioning," said Bara Negro.
