Matchday 22 of Ligue 1 drew an average of 22,474 spectators per match from 22 to 24/01/2016. The average attendance of the championship in 2015-16 is currently 20,475 spectators per match, down 1862 fans compared to the 2014-15 season (-10%). The Ligue 1 stadium fill rate is currently 67% in 2015-16.

The Olympique Lyonnais - Olympique de Marseille (1-1) match drew the largest crowd of the weekend, with 56,506 fans at the new Parc Olympique Lyonnais. LOSC Lille recorded its lowest attendance of the season for the club's loss to ESTAC Troyes (1-3): 26,431 spectators.
