FIFA: Gianni Infantino gets support from UNCAF, the seven Central American federations of CONCACAF

"The Executive Committee of UNCAF, which comprises the presidents of its seven member associations, has decided to support the candidacy and the programme for the FIFA presidency of Gianni Infantino, at its meeting held in Panama on of 25/01/2016," announced the Unión Centroamericana de Futbol (Central American Football Union),on 25/01/2016.

The UNCAF is an association of the seven Central American FIFA member federations (Costa Rica, El Salvador, Honduras, Panama, Guatemala, Belize and Nicaragua). These federations are also members of CONCACAF, which comprises the 35 FIFA member federations of North America, Central America and the Caribbean.

With seven member federations, UNCAF represents 3.3% of the 209 federations that will take part in the election of the successor of Joseph Blatter for the FIFA presidency, during the Extraordinary Congress of the international federation in Zurich (SUI) on 26/02/2016.
