Digital: Infront Sports & Media acquires a 51% stake in the American agency Omnigon

Infront Sports & Media, the Swiss marketing and media rights agency, has acquired a 51% stake in Omnigon, the US digital solutions consulting agency, on 20/01/2016. The two agencies had begun a strategic collaboration on 07/10/2015, including the creation of the new official DFB-Pokal app and providing digital services to the Lega Serie A.

"The acquisition supports the full deployment of Infront Digital Solutions, providing clients with advanced services across the entire digital ecosystem and value chain from one central source - including strategy and monetisation, technology and content creation," said Infront Sports & Media, which is now a subsidiary of the Chinese group Wanda Sports, on 20/01/2016.

Omnigon, whose headquarters are located in New York (US) and employs 250 people, will maintains its brand and continue its activities independently from those of Infront Sports & Media. The brand's management, including the CEO Igor Ulis, has also been retained. Omnigon created the official application of the 2015 Rugby World Cup 2015 and the new website of AS Roma (Serie A TIM)…
