LOSC Lille - Bordeaux (5-1), the semi-final of the 2015-16 Coupe de la Ligue, broadcast live and exclusively in France by the public channel France 2, drew 1,895,000 viewers on average during game on Tuesday 26/01/2016 (kick-off at 21:00 CET).

This figure represents an 8% audience share, and ranked the channel of broadcaster France Télévisions in fourth place in the French TV market for the prime time on 26/01/2016.

With this Lille - Bordeaux cup semi-final match, France 2 recorded its lowest audience in prime time since the beginning of 2016. France Télévisions told News Tank Football that this is a poor performance for a sports programme aired in prime time on a Tuesday night on France 2, but this is not the lowest audience of the channel in this time slot since the beginning of the television season (01/09/2015 - 31/08/2016).
