Matchday 22 of the 2015-16 Serie A TIM season was attended by an average of 26,063 spectators per match on 30 and 31/01/2016. The average attendance of the Italian championship is currently at 22,273 spectators per match, for a stadium fill rate of 57%.

The "Derby della Madonnina" between AC Milan - FC Internazionale Milano (3-0) attracted the largest crowd of the matchday with 77,043 spectators at the San Siro (a 96% fill rate). The current Serie A table leader, SSC Napoli, drew 39,986 spectators for their match against Empoli FC at the Stadio San Paolo (5-1).
