China: streaming platform Le Sports becomes the exclusive broadcaster of Milan Channel until 2019

Le Sports, the sports branch of LeEco, the Chinese technology and digital content company, has become the exclusive distributor in China of Milan Channel, the TV channel of AC Milan (Serie A TIM), according to local media on 29/01/2016.

The partnership between the Italian club and Le Sports will last three years (until the end of January 2019) and covers all broadcast platforms (TV, Internet, mobile). The previous day, 28/01/2016, FC Internazionale Milano had concluded a similar agreement with Le Sports for a period of two years.

Milan Channel will rebroadcast every AC Milan match in the Serie A TIM and TIM Cup, as well as highlights of these matches. The channel also features exclusive interviews with staff, current and former players of the club, as well as news, reports and documentaries.

In addition to the exclusive distribution agreement with Milan Channel, LeEco has become a partner of AC Milan in China, not only for content production (exclusive interviews), but also for promoting the club in the country and the distribution of official AC Milan products via LeMall.com, the…
