"The 130th annual general meeting (AGM) of the IFAB will take place at St. David's Hotel in Cardiff (WAL) on Saturday 05/03/2016 and will be chaired by David Griffiths, president of the Football Association of Wales," announced FIFA on 02/02/2016.

Among the topics on the agenda is video support for referees. The Executive Committee of the IFAB "strongly recommended" allowing video assistance for referees on an experimental basis, at the annual business meeting held in London (ENG) on 07/01/2016, which served as a preparatory meeting before the annual general meeting.

The annual general meeting is the only forum in which changes to football’s Laws of the Game can be made. For a decision to be passed, it must gain at least 75% of the votes (6 votes out of 8). The English, Scottish, Welsh and Northern Irish federations all have one vote each, while FIFA, as a representative of the other 205 federations, has four votes.
