Sportel Asia scheduled from 15 to 17/03/2016 at the Shangri-La Hotel in Singapore

The Sportel Asia 2016 conference will be held at the Shangri-La Hotel in Singapore from 15 to 17/03/2016. Taking place every October in Monaco, the Sportel conference, which specialises in the sports media content sector, relocates for its a second annual session in March, alternately in Asia (the 2014 edition was held in Shanghai, China) and North America (the 2015 edition was held in Miami, USA).

The Sportel Asia 2016 agenda has not yet been provided by the organisers. Among the partners of the conference are FIFA, LaLiga, the marketing and media rights agency MP & Silva, as well as beIN Sports and Eurosport.

In 2014, Sportel Asia attracted 603 participants, representing 299 companies from 42 different countries and sports. 64% of them were rights buyers, while the remaining 36% were in the sales sector. 21% of participants represented a broadcasting group and 46% were from Asia / Middle East.
