FIFA: 45 federations (24 in Europe) have already announced their official support for G. Infantino

24 European federations have officially announced their support for the candidacy of UEFA general secretary Gianni Infantino for the presidency of FIFA, as of 04/02/2016. The Swiss leader updates the list of his official supporters after each announcement made by a national federation in his favour, both on his campaign website (fifaforward2016.com) and on his Twitter account (@Gianni_2016).

"We, the members of the [UEFA] Executive Committee, wish to say that we unanimously support the candidacy of Gianni Infantino for the presidency of FIFA. The UEFA member federations also expressed widespread support for Gianni Infantino, and will officially communicate their individual positions in due time in accordance with their internal procedures," announced UEFA, after the meeting of its Executive Committee and after a meeting with the presidents and secretary generals of the 54 member federations of the European confederation, in Nyon (SUI), on 22/01/2016.
