Premier League: Manchester City celebrate Chinese New Year with animations during Leicester match

Manchester City FC (Barclays Premier League) organised several animations at the Ethiad Stadium (55,000 seats) to celebrate the Chinese New Year (08/02/2016, Year of the Fire Red Monkey) while hosting Leicester City FC (1-3, Matchday 25 of the Premier League) on 06/02/2015 Saturday.

From 11:00 local time in England, the club held a traditional Chinese parade with lion dances and readings of the story of the Monkey King, a character from classic Chinese literature, and several martial arts demonstrations.

These animations are part of the overall system set up by Manchester City to accompany the Chinese New Year in February 2016, which also includes visits to the Ethiad Stadium conducted in Mandarin (the most used language in China), the launch of special videos featuring the players of the club and participation in the celebration of Chinese New Year organised by the city of Manchester.
