Germany: the 2016 Sports Media Summit will take place in Cologne on 02/06/2016

The 2016 Sports Media Summit will take place at the Congress-Centrum Nord Koelnmesse in Cologne (GER), on 02/06/2016. The programme for the 2016 edition has not yet been provided by the organisers, and registration is open as of 08/02/2016.

Organised since 2006 by the German specialised media outlet Sponsors.com, the Sports Media Summit brings together leading figures from the media, clubs, sports bodies, sponsors and agencies for discussions, presentations and networking sessions.

Key speakers at the 2015 edition included Javier Tebas, president of LaLiga; Susanne Aigner-Drews, managing director of Eurosport Germany; Carsten Schmidt, CEO of Sky Deutschland and Thomas Krohne, CEO of the marketing and media rights agency The Sportsman Media Group. Over 300 participants from 15 different countries participated in the 2015 Sports Media Summit.
